Health Galaxy Park (HGP)

Health Galaxy Park (HGP) was established by a consortium of technocrats from the University of Zimbabwe as a strategic investment platform aimed at revitalizing the health sector in Zimbabwe, with a focus on strengthening the national healthcare system. HGP has initiated discussions with prospective investors from the United States of America (USA) regarding the establishment of a Health Infrastructure, Technology and Skills Coordination Centre (HITSCC) and a Pharmaceutical Innovation Hub in Harare, Zimbabwe. This initiative builds upon the foundational work of the International Pharmacotherapy Education and Research Initiative (IPERI) in collaboration with the Center for Integrated Global Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo (State University of New York), USA. The core mission of HITSCC (Pvt) Ltd. is to facilitate Public Private Partnerships within the health sector through a diverse array of projects. Over the past two decades, all health-related initiatives promoted by the team in Zimbabwe have been primarily donor-funded. HITSCC (Pvt) Ltd. aspires to introduce a balanced portfolio of both donor-driven and investor-led health projects, with the overarching goal of advancing transformative initiatives that enhance the healthcare sector in Zimbabwe and the broader region

The Health Infrastructure Technology and Skills Coordination Centre (HITSCC)

The Health Infrastructure Technology and Skills Coordination Centre (HITSCC) is embarking on a strategic transition of its existing capacity-building initiatives into sustainable business development ventures. This endeavor aims to fortify the healthcare workforce infrastructure while establishing state-of-the-art research laboratories and clinical trial facilities. The initiative will seamlessly integrate training programs with business development strategies, evolving current video conferencing capabilities into localized community portals that facilitate healthcare, educational, and business interactions. Furthermore, a sophisticated national health informatics network will be constructed, leveraging AI-driven data analytics to optimize decision-making processes within the healthcare sector. Additionally, a robust biomedical research infrastructure will be developed to foster business incubation and attract external investments.

Pharmaceutical Research and Development (R&D) Center

A partnership with the University of Zimbabwe’s International Pharmacology Specialty Laboratory (UZ-IPSL) focused on clinical drug trials, medicinal cannabis, and pharmaceutical advancements. This center will facilitate drug discovery and development, providing key resources such as a formulation testing lab and an antimicrobial resistance unit, while also promoting quality assurance and genomics research to enhance pharmaceutical science in Zimbabwe.

Traditional and Complementary Medicines Hub

This initiative will be a key hub for promoting evidence-based research on traditional medicine, encouraging collaboration among herbalists, researchers, and industry players. It aims to enhance the production of herbal medicines, ensuring they are safe, effective, and accessible, while also supporting cultural heritage and fostering economic growth through sustainable health solutions.

Cancer Care & Research Center

The Pharmaceutical Innovation Hub will establish a cancer care and research center featuring an oncology program development unit, a clinical research program, and a drug development core. The center will also emphasize community engagement, health IT in oncology, and the integration of natural product research with modern cancer treatment.

Smart Healthcare & Innovation Park

We provides cognitive services to local and international organizations, offering expert guidance and strategic insights for businesses planning to establish or expand operations in Zimbabwe. Our services include market research, policy navigation, and tailored solutions to ensure sustainable and impactful business venture

Training and early-stage housing for new businesses.

Assisting Clients purchasing and selling businesses by helping them secure a favorable price, submit paperwork correctly, and fulfill any licensing and permitting requirements.

Support in obtaining licenses from regulatory authorities including Zimbabwe Investment Development Authority (ZIDA), Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA), Procurement Regulatory Authority in Zimbabwe (PRAZ), Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority in Zimbabwe, ZIMTRADE, Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA), Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA), Health Professions Authority (HPA), Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe (MCAZ). .
