Provide a HIVRT for pre-doctoral and post-doctoral trainees that increases the number of researchers with independent, funded programs with a focus on HIV clinical pharmacology and therapeutics and regional public health priorities including COVID-19

Mentor HIVRT Clinical Pharmacology scholars in team science that includes others with expertise in pharmaceutical bioanalysis, biomedical informatics, data sciences, genomics, and microbiome, and traditional herbal medicines

Foster community support group engagement to participate in innovative research to study novel HIV clinical pharmacology and therapeutics strategies for prevention and treatment and investigate long-acting antiretrovirals and monoclonal antibodies and traditional medicines 

Provide an HIVRT that fosters smart academic-public-private partnerships aimed at addressing sustainable developmental goals.
