We coordinate and support pharmacy graduates on their journey toward professional registration and career development in Zimbabwe. Our program is designed for both local graduates and foreign-trained pharmacy graduates seeking registration with the Pharmacists Council of Zimbabwe. For foreign graduates, we offer structured preparation BOARD EXAMS , which is required before starting the pre-registration year

Our Objectives
  • To support both local and foreign-trained pharmacy graduates in achieving professional registration with the Pharmacy Council of Zimbabwe.
  • To provide structured guidance and preparatory resources for candidates required to pass Exam
  • To connect interns with trusted placement partners in alignment with their career interests and development needs. 

Hospital Pharmacy 

Provide clinical pharmacy services, patient counselling, and manage drug supply. Support pharmacovigilance and antimicrobial stewardship.

Community Pharmacy

Dispense medicines ethically, counsel patients on use, promote healthy lifestyles, and manage inventory.


Academia & Research 

Support teaching and training activities under supervision. Participate in ongoing research projects — from data collection to literature reviews and basic analysis 

Regulatory & Policy 

 Aid in dossier prep, registration docs, compliance checks, and pharmacovigilance data review. Support advocacy  or public health policy initiatives

Here are some common questions about our Pre-Registration Program

Yes! We assist foreign-trained pharmacy graduates in preparing for Exam 1A (MCAZ) so you can register for pre-registration training. We can guide you through this process even before you arrive in Zimbabwe

We provide access to study materials, preparatory guidance, and mentorship support to help you pass Exam 1A. This can be done remotely while you are abroad.


IPERI helps you design your pre-reg to match your career interests. We can assist with placements in hospitals, manufacturing, research, academia, regulation & policy ,or retail pharmacy through our partner institutions.

Yes. We ensure interns are placed under qualified supervisors and provide additional mentorship support through IPERI.
